As such the new hires accounts for the highest employee turnover rates within most organizations. The general business problem is organization have a high turnover rate for entry-level employees that are a misguided by leadership. The high turnover rates are costly to the organization since it hurts productivity, as it is difficult to maintain the same level of productivity when the new employees are constantly leaving the organization (Choi et al., 2016). The specific business problem is the lack of the leadership strategies to educate and retain entry-level employees.
